Resolved Question: Are there High Definition standard Coax cables?

29 May 2009, 7:05 pm

Is was wondering if there are High Definition standard Coaxial cables, because I want to get the best out of my picture on my HD television - tv channels - so I don't have to have the blurry pictures, staticy pictures (that'll come and go), bad quality sound, etc., I don't want any of that crap. I want HD quality picture and sound for my television channels - just like you see when you play a blue-ray player on a full HD tv. Is there any such thing as a HD standard Coaxial cables, or are they completely different cables like a HDMI cable instead of a coax cable - but you would probably have to upgrade of where when your house just has the normal standard coax cables. Does anyone know anything about what I'm talking about, would fiber optic cable have something to do with a HD standard coax cable or what? Tell me everything I would need to know to upgrade or whatever?! Or would I need a box - like a comcast box, or a converter box - would that have something to do with a converter that would have a standard coax cable and then it would convert it into a HDMI cable? Does anyone know?... Read More »
